Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what TidyScroll collects, why, and the choices you have. We tried to keep it short and human.

1. What we collect

  • Photos you take: to verify a cleaning task, you take a "before" and an "after" photo of a space. We use these photos to check whether the space was tidied.
  • Task results: whether a task was approved or rejected, and basic details about your tasks, so the app can track your progress.
  • App selections stay on your device: TidyScroll uses Apple's Screen Time / Family Controls to restrict apps you choose. Apple keeps your selection private on your device — we do not receive the list of apps you lock.
  • Account details (if you sign in): if the app offers sign-in, we receive your name and email to create and secure your account.
  • Purchases: if you subscribe, Apple handles the payment and tells us whether your subscription is active. We never receive your full card details.
  • Basic technical data: like most apps, we log limited technical information (such as device type and error logs) to keep things running.

2. How we use it

To verify your cleaning tasks, run and improve the app, restrict the apps you chose, manage your subscription, respond to support requests, and keep the service safe and prevent abuse.

3. AI processing

To verify a task, we send your before-and-after photos to a trusted AI provider that compares them and returns a result. The provider processes your photos only to return that result.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the app work, and each receives only what it needs — for example our cloud hosting and storage provider, the AI provider that compares your photos, and Apple for sign-in and payment processing.

5. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored and processed on servers operated by the providers above, which may be located in the United States and other countries. By using the app, you understand your information may be transferred internationally.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your photos and task history until you delete them or delete your account. You can delete your data in the app, which permanently removes it from our systems. Deleting the app alone does not delete data stored in your account.

7. Your choices and rights

You can delete your data in the app, and you can turn off camera access and remove Screen Time permissions in your device settings at any time.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your data. To make a request, email us at ziga@benxlabs.com.

8. Children

TidyScroll is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will update the date shown above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
