This Privacy Policy explains what Dream to Anime collects, why, and the choices you have. We tried to keep it short and human.

Dream to Anime is operated by Dream to Anime. If anything here is unclear, email us at ziga@benxlabs.com.

1. What we collect

  • Account details: when you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email to create and secure your account. Before you sign in, we create a temporary anonymous account so setup works; it is merged into your real account when you sign in.
  • Selfies you provide: if you take or choose a photo, we use it to generate your anime avatar.
  • Voice recordings: if you record a dream, we capture the audio and convert it into text so we can turn it into a comic.
  • Dream text: the dreams you type or that we transcribe are used to generate your comic.
  • Content we create for you: the avatars and comics generated for you are stored in your account.
  • Purchases: if you subscribe, Apple or Google handles the payment and our subscriptions provider tells us whether your subscription is active. We never receive your full card details.
  • Basic technical data: like most apps, we log limited technical information (such as device type and error logs) to keep things running.

2. How we use it

To create your avatar and comics, run and improve the app, manage your subscription, respond to support requests, and keep the service safe and prevent abuse.

3. AI processing

To generate your avatar and comics, we send your selfie, dream audio, and dream text to trusted AI providers that produce the results. They process your input only to return the output.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the app work, and each receives only what it needs:

  • Supabase — accounts, database, and storage of your avatars and comics.
  • Anthropic (Claude) — turns your dream text into a comic script.
  • OpenRouter and Google (Gemini) — generate the images.
  • Speechmatics — converts your dream audio into text.
  • RevenueCat — tracks your subscription status.
  • Apple and Google — sign-in and payment processing.

5. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored and processed on servers operated by the providers above, which may be located in the United States and other countries. By using the app, you understand your information may be transferred internationally.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account and content until you delete them. You can delete your account any time in Settings — this permanently removes your profile, avatars, and comics from our systems. Deleting the app alone does not delete your account.

7. Your choices and rights

You can delete your account in Settings, and you can turn off camera and microphone access in your device settings at any time.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your data. To make a request, email us at ziga@benxlabs.com.

8. Children

Dream to Anime is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will update the date shown above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
